Frequently asked questions
Answers to the things we hear most often.
Frequently asked
Questions, answered.
- When should my child first see an orthodontist?
- Around age 7. Most kids won’t need treatment yet, but it’s the best time for a screening.
- Am I too old for braces or aligners?
- No. Healthy teeth and gums can be moved at any age. Many of our patients are in their 30s, 40s, and beyond.
- Do you accept my insurance?
- We accept most major insurance plans and will help you understand your coverage. If you’re unsure, give us a call.
- How much does treatment cost?
- It depends on the complexity of your case. We provide a clear estimate at your consultation and offer interest-free monthly payment plans.
- How long does treatment take?
- Most cases finish in 12–24 months. Some aligner cases finish sooner, and complex cases may take longer.
- How often will I have appointments?
- Roughly every 6–8 weeks for braces and aligner cases. Visits are short — most take 15–30 minutes.
- Can I switch from braces to Invisalign mid-treatment?
- In some cases, yes. We’ll review what’s right for your bite before recommending a switch.
