Meet The Doctor

Education and Training
Dr. Sul earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, one of the top dental schools in the nation. He went on to complete his specialty training in orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) at Saint Louis University, where he received rigorous clinical and academic training in modern orthodontic techniques.

Professional Experience
Before specializing in orthodontics, Dr. Sul practiced as a general dentist for four years, gaining a comprehensive understanding of oral health and interdisciplinary care. During his orthodontic residency, he also provided emergency dental care through regular moonlighting. Following residency, Dr. Sul has worked as a full-time orthodontist in both private and group practice settings across Texas and Maine. His approach emphasizes precision, clear communication, and a commitment to long-term oral health.

Certifications and Memberships
Dr. Sul is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), and several local dental societies. He is licensed to practice in Maine and Texas.

Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Sul combines the latest in orthodontic technology—such as digital scanners, Invisalign clear aligners, and customized treatment planning—with a warm, patient-centered approach. He believes that building trust and educating patients is just as important as delivering exceptional clinical outcomes.

Personal Touch
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sul enjoys fishing, golfing, and growing rare tropical plants. He and his wife Felicia have two young sons who keep them happily on their toes. As a proud resident of Maine, Dr. Sul is excited to serve the communities of Winslow, Auburn, and Portland through Align Orthodontics.
